A little about the courses

EMERALD CHAMPIONSHIP COURSE

Yards: 6714 | Par: 73 | SSS: 72

The Emerald Championship Course covers a total distance of 6,714 yards and is a par 73.

A real hidden gem in the Shropshire countryside, the Emerald sweeps around undulating fairways through natural water hazards and strategically placed bunkers, presenting a real golfing challenge to experienced and mid-level players.

A real grand-stand finish, the 18th requires a lengthy carry over water off the tee, where positioning is key if you want to have a favourable shot to the green. The approach will once again require golfers to negotiate a water hazard if they want to land safely on the putting surface, where a subtly undulating green presents a test to even the most experienced golfer.

SAPPHIRE COURSE

Yards: 4801 | Par: 66 | SSS: 64

Underestimate the Sapphire Course at your peril! A lower yardage measurement than most, but length is not the Sapphire’s defence. Positioning is key if you want to successfully plot your way around this deceptively undulating course.
